March 12, 2018 - Notice of Public Hearings - Board of Adjustments - March 28, 2018

Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Oconto County Board of Adjustment under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance and the Oconto County Shoreland Protection Ordinance on March 28, 2018.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Brazeau Town Hall for Scott Thomson, 8706 Lee Lake Road, Pound, WI  54161 for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a quarry.  Location of the property is in Section 28, T30N, R19E, Town of Brazeau, 10461 Brazeau Town Hall Road.  (On-site inspection at 8:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 at 9:15 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Brazeau Town Hall for Lanny and Cheryl Viegut, 3340 Indigo Bluff Court, Green Bay, WI  54311, Agent: James Hopkins, for a variance to build closer to the centerline of the road and in the visual clearance triangle.  Location of the property is in Section 26, T31N, R18E, Town of Brazeau, 12779 S. APPLICATION NO. 3 at 10:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Mountain Community Center for Oconto County Forest & Parks, 301 Washington Street, Oconto, WI  54153, Agent: Monty Brink, for a variance to build closer to the ordinary high water mark.  Location of the property is in Section 36, T31N, R16E, Town of Mountain, 12436 Chute Dam Road.  (On-site inspection at 10:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 1:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Mark and Laurie Zastrow, 2325 Skyline Pines Drive, Green Bay, WI 54313 for a variance to build closer to the centerline of the road.  Location of the property is in Section 8, T32N, R16E, Town of Riverview, 16442 Rocky Hill Lane.  (On-site inspection at 11:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 at 1:15 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Mountain Stone Corporation, 14382 State Highway 32-64, Mountain, WI  54149, Agent: Ryan Campbell, for a Conditional Use Permit to continue to operate a quarry.  Location of the property is in Section 34, T32N, R15E, Town of Doty, 14698 County Road T.  (On-site inspection at 11:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 6 at 1:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood, for Chris and Laurie Lischka, E2015 Old Settlers Road, Kewaunee, WI  54216 for a variance to build closer to the side lot lines and closer to the centerline of the road.  Location of the property is in Section 29, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend, 17344 West Burnt Dam Road.  (On-site inspection at 11:45 AM)

Notice is further given that printed copies of these proposals are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours. It is possible that a quorum of the Highway Committee may be present at the meeting, however, it is not intended that Highway Committee business will be conducted by the Board of Adjustment.
