October 7, 2016 - Notice of Public Hearings - Rezone Hearings - October 26, 2016

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on October 26, 2016 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:15 AM at the Little Suamico Town Hall for Carl Bowers, W1793 Dragon Fly Court, Kaukauna, WI  54130, Agent: Michael Haverkorn to rezone from Rural Residential District to General Commercial District.  The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 27, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, West Frontier Road.  (On-site inspection at 9:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 at 10:15 AM at the Oconto Town Hall for Calvin and Suzanne Thomson, 7111 County Road J, Lena, WI  54139 to rezone from Rural Residential District and Agricultural District to Agricultural District and Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 6, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, 7111 County Road J.  (On-site inspection at 10:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 11:00 AM at the Stiles town Hall for Craig Braun, 168 E. Hilo Street, Naples, FL  34113 to rezone from Forest District to Agricultural District.  Location of the property is in Section 12, T28N, R20E, Town of Stiles, Military Road.  (On-site inspection at 10:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 12:00 PM at the Brazeau Town Hall for Paul Karban, 7477 Lee Lake Road, Coleman, WI  54112, Agent: Hugh Guy to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 36, T30N, R19E, Town of Brazeau, Lee Lake Road.  (On-site inspection at 11:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO.5 at 1:45 PM at the Mountain Community Center for Mary Hansen and Mark Napholz, 13542 Silver Hill Road, Mountain, WI  54149 to rezone from Industrial District to General Commercial District.  The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistence with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 13, T31N, R16E, Town of Mountain.  (On-site inspection at 1:30 PM)

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
