NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on April 27, 2016 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:00 AM at the Little Suamico Town Hall for Gene Kuss, 1171 E. Frontage Road, Little Suamico, WI  54141 to rezone from Agricultural District to General Commercial District.  The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 23, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, 1197 E. Frontage Road.  (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 at 9:45 AM at the Abrams Town Hall for Kenneth Beekman, 2772 E. Frontage Road, Abrams, WI  54101 to rezone from Agricultural District to Light Industiral District.  Location of the property is in Section 35, T27N, R20E, Town of Abrams, 2772 E. Frontage Road.  (On-site inspection at 9:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 10:45 AM at the Oconto Town Hall for Michael Hebert Estate, c/o Melissa Stamsta, 177 White Oak Trail, Oconto, WI  54153 to rezone from Rural Residential District to Residential Single Family District.  Location of the property is in Section 29, T28N, R22E, Town of Oconto, 2034 County Road NN.  (On-site inspection at 10:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 11:45 AM at the Oconto Falls Town Hall for Joseph Kershek, 9345 State Highway 22, Gillett, WI  54124, Agent: Tracy Ondik, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 19, T28N, R19E, Town of Oconto Falls, 9345 State Highway 22.  (On-site inspection at 11:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 at 12:30 PM at the Gillett Town Hall for Steven Frederick, 9829 State Highway 22-32, Gillett, WI  54124 to rezone from Agricultural District and General Commercial District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 24, T28N, R18E, Town of Gillett, 9829 State Highway 22-32.  (On-site inspection at 12:15 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 6 at 2:45 PM at the Townsend Town Hall for Steven Heimerman, 3031 N. River Road, Oconto, WI  54153 to rezone from Residential Single Family District and Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 10, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend, 16795 Little Pickeral Lane.  (On-site inspection at 2:15 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 7 at 3:00 PM at the Townsend Town Hall for Northeast Asphalt, Inc., 1524 Atkinson Drive, Green Bay,  WI  54303, Agent: Matthew Matuszak to rezone from Forest District to Forest District with a Quarry Overlay.  Location of the property is in Section 15 and Section 22, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend, Valley View Road.  (On-site inspection at 2:30 PM

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
