March 11, 2016 - Notice of Public Hearings - Rezones - March 30, 2016

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on March 30, 2016 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:00 AM at the Pensaukee Town Hall for Robert Lockstein, 3461 Sand Acres Drive, DePere, WI  54115, Agent: Vernon Lockstein to rezone property from Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 16, T27N, R21E, Town of Pensaukee, Liegeois Road.  (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 at 10:00 AM at the Oconto Town Hall for David and Mary VanderVelden, 3694 Airport Road, Oconto, WI  54153, Agent: Paul Shallow, to rezone from Rural Residential District to Agricultural District.  Location of the property is in Section 32, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, Thome Road.  (On-site inspection at 9:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 11:15 AM at the Lena Town Hall for Todd Duame, 5564 US Highway 141, Lena, WI  54139 to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District and General Commercial District.  The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 36, T29N, R20E, Town of Lena, 5275 County Road A.  (On-site inspection at 10:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 11:30 AM at the Lena Town Hall for Ronald Dembroski, 8033 Jagiello Road, Lena, WI  54139 to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 28, T29N, R20E, Town of Lena, 8033 Jagiello Road.  (On-site inspection at 11:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 at 11:45 AM at the Lena Town Hall for Lee Rosner, W9209 County Road Q, Pound, WI  54161 and Eugene and Sandra Swenty, 260 N. Light Lake Road, Crystal Falls, MI  49920, Agent: Robert Kamps to rezone from Residential Single Family District to Agricultural District.  Location of the property is in Section 12, T30N, R19E, Town of Brazeau, 11523 Lentz Road and 7310 Section 9 Church Road.  (No on-site inspection necessary)

APPLICATION NO. 6 at 1:30 PM at the How Town Hall for James Boettcher, 606 Greene Avenue, Green Bay, WI  54301, Agent: Harry Smith to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 27, T29N, R17E, Town of How, 7766 Red Bank Road.  (On-site inspection at 1:15 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 7 at 2:30 PM at the Riverview Town Hall for Rick Pouwels, 15477 Whispering Pines Lane, Crivitz, WI  54114 to rezone from Residential Single Family District to Neighborhood Commercial District.  Location of the property is in Section 22, T32N, R17E, Town of Riverview, 15477 Whispering Pines Lane.  (On-site inspection at 2:15 PM)

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
